Job Description

Talent Software Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Finance and Accounting team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting the month-end closing process and working closely with the business to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • CIP Analysis and Business Partnership: Perform comprehensive CIP analysis and collaborate with business stakeholders to drive financial decision-making.
  • Fixed Asset Management: Maintain accurate fixed asset records within SAP, including recording additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation in accordance with company policies.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare fixed asset roll forward schedules and reconciliations, as well as journal entries, account analysis, and reports related to fixed assets, intangible assets, and prepaids.
  • Prepaid Management: Prepare prepaid roll forward schedules and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Accounting Support: Respond to inquiries from businesses regarding accounting activities, reports, and other support, and research discrepancies to correct variances.
  • Financial Close Support: Provide critical support to the financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion in line with the close schedule and tight deadlines.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Accounting and Finance
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting or finance-related discipline
  • CPA or International Equivalent, with SOX experience preferred
  • Recent experience with SAP strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to independently and efficiently research
  • Advance Excel skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment within tight deadlines
