About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Optometrist or Ophthalmologist to conduct comprehensive eye exams for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's Standardized Health Assessment (SHA) process.

This part-time, non-treating role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to support Veterans' healthcare while operating as an independent contractor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review medical records through a secure web portal to assess patient needs
  • Perform thorough eye exams, including Visual Field Testing (VFT)
  • Complete and submit evaluation forms via the web portal within 24 hours of the exam

As an Eye Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our nation's Veterans.

To be considered for this position, you must be:

  • A licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist
