Position Overview

Become a part of a leading outpatient rehabilitation team in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Sign-on bonus available up to $500

Select Physical Therapy is actively seeking a Part-Time Orthopedic Rehabilitation Assistant. We welcome applications from licensed professionals, including recent graduates, to join our dedicated clinical team of two, who manage a varied orthopedic patient population, encompassing neurological, vestibular, sports medicine, fall prevention, and ACL rehabilitation programs.

Work Schedule: Part-Time on specified weekdays. Hours to be determined.

Compensation: Starting at $25 per hour, with potential increases based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient care under the guidance and oversight of a licensed physical therapist, in accordance with state regulations.
  • Utilize your training and education to assist the Physical Therapist in executing prescribed treatment plans.
  • Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients, caregivers, and facilities with minimal supervision, adhering to the principles and practices of physical therapy and Select Medical policies.
  • Foster positive interactions with facilities and clients, enhancing relationships with staff and clients.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a valid state license, registration, or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant, following graduation from an accredited program and successful completion of a national examination.
  • State licensure and/or certification must be valid in the practicing state.
  • Current Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
