Position Overview:
This is a faculty role within a well-established Internal Medicine Residency Program. The position is based in a community hospital setting, offering a unique opportunity to engage in graduate medical education.
Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties, including:
1. Administrative oversight of the Graduate Medical Education (GME) program.
2. Supervision of residents in both clinical and hospital environments.
3. Participation in meetings, candidate evaluations, and curriculum development.
4. Engagement in research activities.
5. Direct patient care alongside residents.
Focus Areas:
The primary emphasis of this role will be on resident education, with additional responsibilities involving medical student instruction and oversight of advanced practice providers.
