We are seeking a talented, entrepreneurial Principal to assist in transforming a high school in Memphis, TN. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the education landscape in this neighborhood.

About the Role

We are looking for someone with 6+ years of teaching experience, including at least 2 years in a Principal or Assistant Principal role. You should also have experience working with students in underserved communities and a demonstrated history of improving student achievement.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead transformation efforts for a school with great opportunity and challenges
  • Hire, evaluate, and develop school staff, coaching them throughout their professional growth
  • Serve as administrator and instructional leader, directing and supervising the curriculum and guidance program
  • Plan the master schedule of classes and assign staff schedules
  • Work closely with Assistant Principals to craft student discipline policies
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of teaching experience, with exposure to high schools and at least 2 years in a Principal or Assistant Principal role
  • Experience and passion for working with students in underserved communities
  • Growth mindset, with a 'grit and grind' mentality and the belief that the impossible is possible
  • Currently holds an ILL-B license, is eligible to advance an ILL-A License, or holds a comparable state Administrative credential
What We Offer

We are offering a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $110-127k.
