About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab team at Ascension Saint Thomas. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
  • Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures, and perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.
  • Prepare, implement, and document the plan of care, and communicate patient conditions to physicians before, during, and after procedures.
  • Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures, and provide equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures.
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of our organization by promoting the spirit embodied in our Mission Statement.
Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
