Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage parts inventory to ensure sufficient stock levels for all machinery.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive cross-reference file for accurate parts identification. Collaborate with the Research Analyst for pricing on specialized components.
  • Advise customers on optimal parts inventory and provide training on parts catalogs and service order cards.
  • Keep detailed records of parts allocated to field service technicians and ensure the return of unused items to inventory.
  • Facilitate timely shipping of parts and prioritize emergency or back-ordered items to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain an accessible contact number for customer inquiries outside of regular business hours.
  • Process warranty claims and ensure they are resolved efficiently.
  • Assist in the proper handling and disposal of environmentally regulated waste.
  • Conduct monthly safety audits and ensure that all corrective measures are implemented.
  • Act as the service center supervisor in the absence of the Service Center Manager.

    Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and stooping.
  • Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.

    Education and Experience Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in the parts or service industry, with a focus on coordinating service tasks with technicians and parts staff.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
