Role Summary:
The Registered Nurse will employ the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care. This role entails maintaining professional accountability for the care provided to assigned patients, assessing the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other healthcare providers, and coordinating patient care in collaboration with various departments. Upholding patient rights and ensuring the confidentiality of patient information are paramount. Responsibilities will be executed in alignment with our mission, values, and service standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
- Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the state of practice, adhering to all state board of nursing requirements.
- Physical Requirements: - Regularly required to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds - Prolonged standing and walking throughout each shift - Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary to perform duties.
- Certifications: - Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or completion of the course within 30 days of hire. Additional certifications may be required based on the specific unit or position, including but not limited to: ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, and other unit-specific certifications.
