Job Summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a highly experienced Senior Supply Chain Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring overall supply chain strategy to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain plans to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create coordinated plans for procurement and business development.
  • Identify and track supplier non-conformances to closure, ensuring all quality standards are met.
  • Handle communications and negotiations with vendors and suppliers.
  • Track supply chain effectiveness, efficiency, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze supply chain data and performance to improve productivity and efficiency while reducing costs.
  • Maintain supply chain inventory and records.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field. Master's degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management supporting manufacturing of high-reliability electronic products.
  • First-hand knowledge of supplier quality systems.
  • Experience supporting/leading proposal efforts.
  • Great project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in growing and scaling a supply chain team.
  • Experience using an ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Acumatica, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to back up conclusions with data.
  • Time management skills, with the ability to separate the important tasks from the noise.
  • Sense of urgency, with ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong Excel skills, with the ability to present concise data to internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within the Aerospace industry.
  • Experience wearing multiple hats at a rapidly growing startup company.
