Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team in the preparation of project drawings, calculations, and specifications.
  • Prepare analysis, design, calculations, reports, site visits, and permit applications.
  • Provide construction assistance and evaluate land use/zoning requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation of proposals and estimates for potential projects.
  • Mentor and train junior staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
  • At least 5 years of engineering experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • Experience with unique design/permitting requirements working within an urban context.
  • Technical experience in mixed-use urban infill, sustainable design, and stormwater best management practices.
  • Knowledge of the surrounding area preferred.
  • Proficient in Civil 3D, SWMM, and Excel.
