Senior Project Manager

SJS Executives, LLC is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to oversee construction operations within a local VA healthcare facility. As a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, SJS specializes in professional services to support federal and military organizations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all aspects of construction and leasing project management, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, quality, and risk.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, including work breakdown structures, critical paths, and earned value management.
- Document management and control, including construction and construction administration documents, correspondence, and as-builts.
- Review and reconcile payment applications and invoices from third-party contractors, architects, and engineers.
- Attend regular meetings with VA Engineering staff, contractors, and hospital staff.
- Provide overall project management, including facilitating all phases of projects concurrently, from predesign through construction completion and activation.
- Collect and organize contracts, reports, logs, and other supporting documentation necessary for project files.
- Ensure project success in terms of timeline, budget, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness.
- 15+ years of experience in construction management on projects valued $5 million or greater.
- Graduate of an Architectural, Engineering, or Construction Management college curriculum with a 4-year degree.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
- Knowledge of construction practices and techniques, including proper applications of construction materials and methods of installation.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, such as OSHA, EPA, and local health and safety laws.
- Ability to accurately calculate construction costs for changes and negotiate equitable adjustments.
- Ability to inspect materials, workmanship, and construction and installation of various systems.
- Knowledge of safety practices in the construction industry, including OSHA safety requirements.
- Experience and familiarity with Federal and local government building projects and procedural requirements.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and thorough background check for access onto a military installation.
