Job Overview

The primary aim of the Reliability Operations Supervisor is to guarantee the secure and dependable functioning of production facilities while minimizing life cycle costs. This role involves overseeing the assignment and management of tasks performed by all reliability experts within the region, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, high-quality work standards, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and allocate tasks to all Reliability Center Specialists for both emergency and scheduled maintenance.
  • Ensure that all work is conducted safely and meets quality and productivity benchmarks.
  • Oversee the effective execution of the outage planning process.
  • Provide technical guidance in collaboration with engineering resources as necessary.
  • Mentor and develop specialists to enhance their skills.
  • Coordinate the procurement of parts and resources for Reliability Center operations.
  • Optimize the use of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems by specialists, ensuring data accuracy and cost tracking.
  • Ensure timely planning, scheduling, and coordination of Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), Project, and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities.
  • Promote proactive maintenance and PM/PdM initiatives.
  • Address critical issues with urgency and integrity.
  • This role involves a mix of office and fieldwork, requiring availability during off-hours and potential travel.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial reliability or maintenance, or at least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in managing industrial reliability or maintenance teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise with compressors, turbines, high-speed rotating machinery, motors, and electrical distribution systems.
  • Experience in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial systems and equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proven capability to work independently and effectively lead teams.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks under pressure while prioritizing effectively.
  • Proficiency in standard software applications (e.g., MS Office, email).

Preferred:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • Understanding of regulatory and industrial standards.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as Infor EAM.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
