Job Description

About the Position

The Logistics Coordinator I is responsible for overseeing the coordination of inbound and outbound processes, ensuring proper workloads are provided to floor associates. This position may also be responsible for managing inventory levels, customer service, returns, and tracking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound processes to meet customer requirements.
  • Manage inventory levels and report to customers and leadership.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and act as a central communication hub between customers, site personnel, and third-party carriers.
  • Receive and process order requests, identify availability, and prepare for shipment.
  • Perform daily load planning, routing, and coordinating of requests using warehouse and transportation management systems.
  • Communicate with customer team members regarding inventory, sales force requirements, and scheduling of deliveries.
  • Ensure all special customer requirements are met and entered into the workflow schedule.
  • Assist with Logistics Coordinator II duties as requested.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehousing or DOT related environment required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Travel Requirements

  • This position is expected to travel approximately 25% or less.
