Key Responsibilities:- Financial Leadership: Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with the executive team to provide insightful financial guidance that aligns with business growth goals.
- Cash Flow Management: Direct cash flow, investment strategies, and corporate finance decisions to ensure financial stability and profitability.
- Financial Planning: Lead the financial planning process, including financial modeling, to support informed decision-making.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, industry standards, and implement effective internal controls to mitigate risk.
- Team Development: Manage, mentor, and develop the finance team, driving efficiency and accuracy in day-to-day operations.
- Reporting & Stakeholder Communication: Prepare comprehensive financial statements, reports, and presentations for board meetings, investors, and stakeholders.
- Boutique Commercial Real Estate Experience: Proven experience working in a boutique, privately held commercial real estate firm, with deep knowledge of the unique financial dynamics of smaller firms.
- Relevant Finance Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a CFO, Controller, or similar role within commercial real estate or a related industry.
- Financial Expertise: Strong proficiency in financial modeling, reporting, and analysis, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Cash Flow Management: Experience managing cash flow, investments, and corporate finance decisions, with a deep understanding of real estate financial dynamics.
- Leadership Ability: Demonstrated leadership skills with the capacity to inspire, motivate, and develop a team of finance professionals.
- Compliance & Regulations: Expertise in financial regulations, industry standards, and best practices for financial compliance.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
