This role offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Job Description
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, land acquisition documents, and transactional documents that meet our risk tolerance and standards.
  • Lead real estate professionals within the Legal Department, establishing quality control for legal work product and identifying project and business risks creatively.
  • Advise business units on legal risk and compliance for their real estate initiatives, providing sound, cogent legal advice related to land acquisitions and land development.
  • Perform due diligence and prepare documents related to transactional needs of land acquisition and development process, monitoring legal developments that affect our business.

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to mitigate risks and ensure successful outcomes.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and current law license from the State Bar of Texas.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating real estate contracts in a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Demonstrated computer skills, including a working knowledge of MS Office products, such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
