Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining project documents and logs, providing technical support to Project Managers and field personnel, and ensuring safety and quality control throughout the project life cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project documents and logs, including safety protocols and quality control measures.
  • Provide technical support to Project Managers and field personnel, including training and guidance on project procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company and client policies, as well as industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage change orders, including administration, pricing, submission, and tracking.
  • Assist in establishing the construction plan and engineering methods per the project's scope of work and project specifications.
  • Provide certifiable training on various test equipment systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Manage and coordinate closeout operations, including the review and validation of test reports, redlines, and as-built drawings.
  • Coordinate with the project and field management teams and field personnel to design temporary works, audits, and inspections for cabling installations.
  • Oversee inventory control, monitoring, and tracking of test equipment and resources.
  • Collaborate with the project team to create and define methods to improve project efficiencies and maintain project profitability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or Engineering.
  • 3-5 years' experience in structured cabling design work.
  • RCDD (BICSI: Registered Communications Distribution Design) certification.
  • Applicable Project Management Certification.
  • Strong leadership, communication, influencing, and collaborative skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and decision-making.
  • Large data center construction, design, and technical knowledge preferred.
