Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other financial operations.
  • Review and monitor financial transactions for accuracy.
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain reconciliations of accounts.
  • Generate weekly cash flow reports.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of event settlements.
  • Support the creation of financial statements and reports for stakeholders.
  • Maintain general and subsidiary ledgers, including accounts receivable and payable.
  • Ensure accuracy in general ledger coding.
  • Conduct cost analyses and financial assessments.
  • Collaborate with auditors to verify financial data and processes.
  • Establish control systems for new financial frameworks and enhance existing procedures.
  • Review financial statements with management teams.
  • Assist with additional responsibilities related to venue operations as needed.
Supervisory Duties
  • Directly manage finance department personnel, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards. Responsibilities include recruitment, training, work assignment, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution.
Qualifications

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in public accounting or financial management at a supervisory level.
  • Familiarity with SAGE, DeFacto, and D365 is preferred.
Skills and Competencies
  • Comprehensive understanding of general and cost accounting principles.
  • Strong mathematical abilities and a high level of numerical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proven supervisory capabilities.
  • Proficient in accounting software, spreadsheets, and word processing applications.
