JOB OVERVIEW

As a key member of the Investor Relations team at The Ladders, you will be instrumental in fostering strong connections with our investors, ensuring clear communication, and enhancing the overall investor experience. This role is tailored for a driven individual with a solid background in finance and exceptional communication abilities, eager to advance their career within a dynamic asset management environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the strategic creation of reporting, marketing, and due diligence materials, including pitch presentations and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs).
  • Collaborate with senior management and team members across the Asset Management division to prepare marketing documents, due diligence reports, and respond to investor inquiries.
  • Coordinate with various departments to gather and consolidate information from investment teams, performance metrics, legal, tax, operations, finance, and accounting to develop comprehensive materials.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with our investors and prospects, addressing their inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Work alongside internal stakeholders, such as portfolio managers, business development, marketing, compliance, and legal teams, to ensure the accuracy and compliance of all investor-related materials.
  • Manage and update our investor database, CRM system, and website with pertinent investor information and performance metrics.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, accounting, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in investor relations, financial communications, investment banking, or similar roles within the asset management sector.
SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Strong understanding of alternative investment products and services, particularly in private credit.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to present complex financial concepts clearly and succinctly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel, and familiar with CRM and web-based platforms.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
