Investor Relations Associate / Senior Associate

A leading financial institution in New York City is seeking a highly skilled Investor Relations Associate / Senior Associate to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the overall investor relations strategy, including creating a compelling company story, external and internal messaging, and event planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive investor relations plan, including quarterly earnings calls, 1x1 meetings, analyst days, and road shows.
  • Oversee logistics for investor relations events, including meetings, conferences, and investor road shows.
  • Convey investor sentiment to management and provide recommendations on communication that promotes a better understanding of the company's value proposition.
  • Research and analyze stock ownership, institutional investor base, trading activity, company peers, and competitors' financial statements and valuation.
  • Assist in developing and managing databases and reports that support the Investor Relations strategy.
  • Gather marketplace information to keep management informed of industry trends, transactions, investor point-of-view, and advise on the potential impact of business initiatives.
  • Review analyst models for accuracy and track and manage analyst consensus estimates.
  • Monitor and review data populated by external sources.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Investor Relations experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Knowledge of SEC, 1940's Act, and NYSE regulations.
  • Solid analytical skills.
  • Great interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organized.
Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, and/or Finance.
  • Experience in a Finance specialty.
