Job Title: Field Service Technician

IQVIA is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining automated medication dispensing systems in healthcare facilities across the United States.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure hardware for automated medication dispensing systems
  • Review schematics, documentation, and logistics to support installation activities
  • Carry out pre-assembly, building, and installation of conveyors, automated dispensers, and related equipment
  • Install pneumatic devices, RFID readers, and sensors throughout conveyor systems
  • Commission electronic and electrical systems and install structured cabling
  • Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with quality compliance requirements
  • Partner with a team of support staff to manage project timelines and customer needs
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical or heavy electronic equipment installation
  • Military veterans with experience in electronics-related MOS encouraged to apply
  • Equivalent education in electronics or electrical degree or certification will be considered
  • Professional business acumen and communication skills required
  • Ability to work with design engineers, project managers, and healthcare personnel to identify equipment layout, operations, and workflow
  • Ability to use hand and power tools, read schematics, and assemble components
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in technician, Journeyman Electrician, construction, or maintenance roles installing, repairing, or servicing heavy electromechanical equipment
  • Basic troubleshooting abilities using electrical diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
Working Conditions:
  • 100% travel locally, regionally, and nationally
  • Open availability Monday through Friday
  • Ability to work independently in a customer setting with minimal supervision
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including proof of vaccination status
