Pharmacist - Health Equity Specialist

Key Responsibilities
- Provide pharmaceutical care to patients, including evaluating written prescriptions and counseling patients and medical providers on medication use.
- Check completed prescriptions for accuracy and provide drug information to clinicians as needed.
- Participate in implementing goals and objectives, and policy and procedures of the department and the Health Center.
- Support a work environment that is responsible and sensitive to the needs of a diverse staff and clients.
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy at a college or university.
- Licensure by the State Board of Pharmacy by examination or reciprocity.
- Experience using computer applications, including word processing, a spreadsheet software, and pharmacy information system.
- 2-5 years of professional work experience as a licensed Pharmacist.
- Bilingual a plus.
