Application Support Specialist

The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for preventing and resolving issues, proactively monitoring system health, collaborating with other teams, and developing and implementing improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prevent and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Proactively monitor system health to identify potential issues before they occur
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution
- Develop and implement improvements to our systems and processes
- Troubleshoot and triage application and system issues
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of experience in designing, developing, and managing system automations using Java and AI operations systems
- Experience in application & production support/service delivery/operations support environment
- Hands-on coding experience in Java, HTML5, JavaScript, or Unix Shell Script
- Experience with DB2, Oracle, Mongo, or NoSQL
- Hands-on experience with observability monitoring toolset with servers and application performance tools (Splunk or ELF {Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana} or similar tools)
- Building APIs and microservices
- Experience working with application performance monitoring
- Security background - authentication and cybersecurity

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Salary Range: $130,000– $145,000 annually
Benefits: Medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, 5 personal days accrued each calendar year, 10-15 days of paid vacation time, 6 paid holidays and 1 floating holiday per calendar year, Ascendion Learning Management System
This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions for this position are estimated to be based on individual performance. Additionally, this role is also eligible for a bonus based on the achievement of mutually agreed KRAs.
