Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Executive - Rail/Transit to oversee various MTA C&D transit projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful construction and overall project delivery for the client and overall client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee various MTA C&D transit projects
  • Responsible for the successful construction and overall project delivery for the client
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Manage and coordinate with project teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate project risks
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or similar
  • Licensed Professional Engineer, Registered Architect, or Certified Construction Manager
  • 20+ years of experience in rail construction projects, including stations, line structures, communications systems, and track work
  • Experience with MTA C&D (including NYCT, LIRR, MNR), Amtrak, NJ Transit, and PANYNJ
  • Experience with design-build projects
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate new clients, identify opportunities, and win work
  • Strong relationships within the industry, including within agency, consultant, and contractor community
  • Ability to take ownership and be accountable for projects and personnel
  • Excellent communication skills and work ethic
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead and support business development and proposal activities
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate the technical requirements of segments of the individual projects, outline the tasks, manpower and equipment requirements, establish fees, scope and project budgets and outline a project schedule
  • Demonstrated ability to administer all project general and technical data and reports to communicate verbally and in writing to all parties involved
