As a Business Banking Officer, you will be instrumental in providing outstanding financial solutions to our esteemed business clientele.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct client interviews to ascertain loan needs and collect essential information for applications
  • Forge new commercial loan and deposit relationships through networking and client interactions
  • Draft financing proposals for client evaluation in alignment with the Bank's credit risk parameters
  • Evaluate financial statements to make well-informed decisions regarding loan approvals
  • Support the initiation of new deposit accounts and treasury management services
  • Collaborate with the lending team to assess credit requests and suggest suitable loan structures
  • Authorize and establish loans within designated limits or refer to the loan committee for further approval
  • Meet sales targets and manage an existing portfolio of commercial loan and deposit clients
  • Implement business services sales strategies and ensure prompt loan closing and funding
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in business banking or commercial lending
  • Comprehensive understanding of business financial statements and credit assessment
  • Demonstrated sales and customer service expertise
  • Familiarity with business banking products and services
  • Capability to cultivate and sustain relationships with business clients
  • Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Awareness of banking compliance regulations
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team setting and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to engage in community events to represent the bank
  • Valid driver's license and personal transportation for client meetings

Compensation: $80,000-$100,000 per year
