Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Demand-Side Management Specialist to join our dynamic team at Otter Tail Power. This role is pivotal in driving our commitment to sustainability and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative load management programs that cater to our customers' energy needs.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to inform program strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of product lifecycle processes, including planning, positioning, and product launch.
  • Stay abreast of emerging customer technologies and their integration with energy markets.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in energy management, engineering, marketing, or a related field, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles, energy markets, and project management.
  • Familiarity with utility operations, including customer service, resource planning, and budgeting.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive approach to work, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
