Position Overview:

Your role will be pivotal in crafting solutions that support critical missions. Leveraging your background in communications and organizational management, you will oversee the execution of urgent tasks for senior Department of Defense (DoD) leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and edit official documents, ensuring clarity and precision in communication.
  • Coordinate workflows across various task management systems to maintain efficiency.
  • Analyze existing policies and processes to recommend enhancements that improve operational effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the defense acquisition community by providing insights that align with national defense strategies.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience within the DoD or related organizations, focusing on the development of executive-level communications.
  • Proven ability to manage projects with varying timelines and complexities.
  • Expertise in supporting senior executives with task management and compliance reviews.
  • Active Secret clearance is required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is essential.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with task management software and DoD staffing coordination.
  • Experience in managing policy documents and congressional communications.
  • Knowledge of the DoD Manual for Written Material in Correspondence Management.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including editorial proficiency.
