Compliance and Contracts Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Contracts Administrator to join our client's team in the Bohemia, NY area.

This direct hire role offers an exciting opportunity to expand your career within a state-of-the-art technology organization. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of current experience and a minimum of two years' experience working with government-based contracts, specifically FAR and DFAR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Contracts, Purchase Orders, and Terms and Conditions to ensure compatibility and compliance.
  • Prepare project contracts to summarize all customer requirements that must be met per contract.
  • Manage and track all vendor, third-party, and subcontractor agreements.
  • Stay up-to-date on Federal, State, and Local requirements identified in all commercial and federal contracts to ensure compliance.
  • Responsible for all documentation deliverables and oversight of the regulatory and compliance aspect of each project.
  • Thoroughly review all customer commercial terms and conditions and manage deviations to ensure all terms are acceptable to both parties and ultimately satisfied.
  • Ensure projects meet the defined scope of work, technical proposals, and/or customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure all OSHA and applicable workplace Health & Safety rules and regulations are met.
  • Potential travel to customer sites globally to participate in project meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum four years of related contract or project administration experience with at least two years of concentration on contracts and regulatory compliance.
  • Extensive experience with government contracts - specifically FAR and DFAR regulations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills enabling effective communication both internally and externally using all available methods of communication.
  • Highly experienced in legal issues with the ability to interpret key elements of a contract.
  • Proven proficiency in establishing, negotiating, and monitoring terms and conditions.
  • Experience working with an ERP or MRP system, specifically MS Dynamics.
  • Fluency in multiple languages highly preferred.
  • Proven technical aptitude.
  • Skilled in MS Office Suite and MS Project.

This role is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the hourly pay range is estimated to be $75,000 to $100,000, and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) + match, and PTO.
