About this Role

We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our Foster Care and Family Services Division. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting foster families and ensuring the well-being of children in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and assess new foster parent applicants
  • Organize training and support for foster parents
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Engage in ongoing assessment activities to ensure compliance with funding and licensing requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field
  • LSW or LSWA licensure required within 6 months of hire
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Computer competence in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to navigate the EOHHS Virtual Gateway iFamily Net system
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in public relations and outreach
  • Bilingual Portuguese and/or Spanish speaking
What You'll Get to Do
  • Assist in the recruitment of foster families
  • Work with recruiters to assess new foster parent applicants
  • Complete and maintain documentation as required
  • Visit foster homes monthly and conduct annual licensing activities
  • Maintain foster family records in accordance with licensing standards
