Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Riverside Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs, applying standards of practice to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with patients and their families to develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care, treatments, and procedures that contribute to physiological and psychosocial outcomes.
  • Participate in care coordination and facilitate safe patient transitions to the next level of care.
  • Provide individualized patient education and discharge education to family/caregivers, evaluating for comprehension and documenting.
  • Accurately complete all required clinical and quality documentation consistently per RHS standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Delegate and prioritize tasks appropriately to facilitate quality patient care and service excellence.
Requirements
  • MSN, BSN, ADN, or nursing diploma required.
  • Specialty certification in the field highly encouraged.
  • Experience preferred in an acute care setting but not required.
  • Licensed RN or board eligible by the State of Virginia or compact state required.
  • BLS Card required.
