Job Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice/nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Implement and evaluate care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
- Minimum of ASN or RN Diploma required; BSN or MSN preferred
- RN licensure required; BLS within 90 days of hire; ACLS within 1 year
- Strongly prefer previous acute care (ICU, ED, etc) or cath lab experience
