We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita Inc. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients suffering from end-stage renal disease.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering dialysis treatments, monitoring patients' vital signs, and recording patient observations.
- Work closely with our interdisciplinary team, including nurses, dietitians, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients on kidney dialysis-related topics and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Assist with daily tasks, such as setting up dialysis machines, preparing treatment areas, and maintaining patient records.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and willing to learn new skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
