Certified Medication Aide

As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in providing technical support to our healthcare team. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with the distribution of medications to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and document vital signs, height, and weight, as well as intake and output.
- Assist with patient activities and care as assigned by the charge nurse/designee.
- Provide personal hygiene assistance, chronic wound care, and feeding support.
- Assist with ambulation, positioning, and turning patients with altered mobility.
- Distribute and document patient medications, adhering to Title 40, Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 95.
- Ensure drug room security and maintain the upkeep of facility drug room and pharmaceutical equipment.
- High school or GED equivalent.
- Current Texas Certified Medication Aide permit.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality.
