Job Summary

IntelyCare is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a STNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents in assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and other post-acute settings.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as mobility, personal hygiene, toileting, feeding, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Monitor residents throughout the shift and alert the broader nursing team to any concerns
  • Check temperature, blood pressure, and other vital signs, and report any abnormal events to supervising staff
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic environment by changing linens and helping to clean residents' rooms, etc.
  • Move residents to and from wheelchairs, beds, and exam tables
  • Offer companionship and a compassionate, engaged ear to residents and their loved ones
  • Communicate effectively with visitors, family members, and staff
  • Follow and adhere to resident care plans
Requirements
  • Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification
  • Knowledge of medical terms and basic nursing care procedures
  • Strong observational skills and a high level of attention to details
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with medical professionals and residents
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
