We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join our team as a Vice President of Quality at Medical City Lewisville. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the quality of care we provide to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide executive-level leadership and oversight for the Quality program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop, implement, and review organizational performance improvement plans, policies, and procedures to drive successful quality outcomes and ongoing improvement in healthcare delivery.
- Facilitate process improvement efforts among Performance Improvement teams, Medical Staff, and hospital departments, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Ensure hospital accreditation program compliance and provide education to key hospital staff on Federal, State, and regulatory agency requirements, such as The Joint Commission, CMS, TDH, OSHA, etc.
- Coordinate quality indicator development, data retrieval, and analysis, as well as the screening and referral of cases to Medical Staff Committees for departmental peer review.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Master's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- CPHQ certification preferred.
- Minimum of five years of managerial experience in quality management or hospital management.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Joint Commission accreditation standards and survey methodology, CMS regulations, and other Federal and State regulations related to healthcare quality management.
Medical City Lewisville is a full-service medical and surgical facility, providing a broad spectrum of care to the communities of southern Denton County. Our patient tower features two floors dedicated to women's services, including a specialty obstetrics referral center for high-risk OB services. We have a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and are a Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center. Our team of over 360 physicians and 800 healthcare associates is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and safety.
