Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with team members and development engineers to comprehend product specifications and create test cases and plans that fulfill or surpass product requirements.
  • Enhance test coverage by developing new tests as part of the team's continuous improvement objectives.
  • Execute performance and scale test cases on HPC storage hardware within a supercomputing environment.
  • Document issues encountered during testing by creating detailed tickets.
  • Work alongside developers to reproduce and debug problems.
  • Build and install development code for verification of fixes as necessary.
  • Provide domain-specific expertise and leadership in software systems for cross-organizational projects.
  • Drive innovation and integrate new technologies into projects within the systems design organization.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Experience in supporting compute server or storage products.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Proficiency in Bash Shell, Perl, and Python programming languages.
  • Familiarity with C programming is advantageous.
  • Preferred experience as a Linux Administrator and desirable UNIX experience.
  • Knowledge of filesystems and Lustre is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to computer hardware installation and maintenance.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience with HPC and AI computing is desired.
  • Competence in evaluating processes for systems design and validation methodology, including writing and executing test plans, debugging, and testing scripts.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and work independently.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard IT security and compliance requirements.
