Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the financial affairs of the Credit Union, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.
  • Manage the Accounting/Finance and Risk and Compliance Departments, overseeing financial systems, practices, controls, and procedures.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Establish yearly financial objectives that align with our growth plans.
  • Oversee net worth and forecast analysis, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Manage the annual budget, preparing and presenting monthly financial reports.
  • Act as the main contact with investment houses, financial institutions, and government agencies, exploring new investment opportunities.
  • Supervise the creation of reports, software implementation, and tools for budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all financial and statistical reports for the Board of Directors.
  • Comply with all relevant laws and regulations, ensuring the Credit Union's financial integrity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, with an MBA and/or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum five years of CFO experience in the financial services industry.
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Significant experience with budgets, forecasting, analysis, asset/liability management, and investments.
  • Strong leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence, with the ability to motivate staff.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills, with excellent collaborative skills.
  • Understanding of the Credit Union's mission and vision, with adherence to confidentiality, security, professional conduct, and dress code.
Salary:

$176,409.00 per year.
