About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director of Research to join our team at The Mosakowski Institute for Public Enterprise. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight of our research initiatives, ensuring that our programs are evidence-based and effective in addressing the behavioral health needs of adolescents and young adults.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a research agenda that aligns with the institute's mission and goals
  • Lead a team of researchers in designing, implementing, and evaluating large-scale community-engaged research programs
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure funding and resources for research initiatives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers, practitioners, and community leaders
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in behavioral health and translate this knowledge into actionable insights for our programs
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in clinical psychology or behavioral sciences, or a related field
  • 7-10 years of experience in research leadership and management
  • Strong track record of securing external funding and managing budgets
  • Exceptional data analytic and research methodology skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within and across multi-disciplinary teams and departments
