Environmental Protection Specialist | Tank Maintenance and Repair

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals without prior experience in the field to learn and grow with our company. As a Field Service Technician, you'll work on job sites, conducting various testing, installations, and repairs using our proprietary software, TANCS. Previous career paths that excel in this role include HVAC, Plumbing, Mechanics, Electricians, Carpenters, and Cable Technicians.

We're looking for candidates who possess:

  • A mechanical aptitude and experience in trades, over-the-road driving, and/or industrial/commercial settings.
  • The ability to lift up to 70lbs and perform tasks that require stooping, bending, and kneeling.
  • Physical fitness to climb 20ft extension ladders multiple times a day.
  • Adherence to a DOT physical, drug screen, DMV check, and background check, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • The ability to work independently and maintain strict safety and technical protocols.
  • Basic knowledge of computers, tablets, or phones for data entry.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Comfortable traveling in a multi-state area, with occasional overnight stays away from home, with hotel accommodations and a generous per diem provided.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing site assessments and surveys, as well as associated procedures.
  • Conducting leak tests on fuel storage tanks and piping.
  • Installing equipment and testing tank gauge systems.
  • Entering and analyzing test results into company computers and communicating any issues or findings to the Operations team.
  • Managing and reporting inventory of parts and supplies on company vehicles.
