About the Role

CesiumAstro is seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembly Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and delivery of our products meet our customer's expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret schematics, drawings, diagrams, and other visual aids for assembly
  • Work with team members to ensure production roles are clear
  • 2+ years of experience in electronic assembly operations, including SMT, AOI, Prepping Components, X-Ray, De-Panel, and Soldering
  • Regularly communicate with engineers and design staff to ensure designs are being implemented correctly
  • Use tools to make or repair parts and products
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to differentiate between colors to identify colored electrical wires
  • Attention to detail and maintenance of a clean workspace
  • Ability to read parts lists and ensure all parts are present
  • Familiarity with undergoing routine preventive maintenance
  • Maintain inventory and place orders for supplies as needed
  • Basic computer skills to complete quality control forms
  • Familiarity working in an ESD and FOD-controlled environment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow strict safety guidelines
Requirements
  • A High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in electronic assembly operations
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
