Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Surgical Nurse Specialist to join our team in Anchorage, Alaska.

About the Role

This is a 13-week contract position with Cross Country Nurses, working as a Medical Surgical Nurse in a dynamic and challenging environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients' medical conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans to promote optimal health and well-being.
  • Administer medications, perform various medical procedures, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, share knowledge, and improve overall quality of care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
  • An active RN license.

Estimated Salary

$130,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
