Position Overview

As a vital member of our retail team at Story Cannabis Co., you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our customers. Your role will encompass various tasks aimed at enhancing the customer experience and ensuring smooth operations within the store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome customers with warmth and professionalism upon their arrival.
  • Accurately input customer details into our database and METRC system to confirm purchase eligibility.
  • Execute all sales transactions in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by consistently going above and beyond.
  • Efficiently manage cash and debit transactions while ensuring a balanced cash drawer.
  • Collaborate effectively with a diverse range of personalities, including both colleagues and customers.
  • Demonstrate strong mathematical skills.
  • Maintain exceptional organization, efficiency, and time management.
  • Quickly navigate Windows and multiple applications, utilizing shortcut keys and proficient typing skills.
  • Keep the retail space clean, stocked, and well-organized.
  • Conduct nightly inventory assessments of all products in the store.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Engage in special projects and tasks as assigned by management.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of cannabis products is highly preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States; all necessary documentation required.
  • Consent to a criminal background check is mandatory.
  • Possession of a valid State-Issued ID or U.S. Passport is required.
  • Ability to occasionally lift items weighing 50+ pounds.
  • Capable of sitting or standing for extended periods.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • No scheduling restrictions are permitted.
  • Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of all pre-employment background checks.
Education
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent is required.
