Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for research projects, including budget management and coordination with faculty and staff.
  • Coordinate Jordan College matters related to academic programs and students, including scheduling and event planning.
  • Work closely with the Assistant to the Dean to ensure the needs of the College are met.
  • Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to support research initiatives.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify and address research needs and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Equivalent to a bachelor's degree and/or equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse student, faculty, and staff population.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in research administration, including budget management and coordination with faculty and staff.
  • Knowledge of university infrastructure, policies, and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of budget policies and procedures.
