Overview

At Great Wolf Resorts, the Safety Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment for our guests, their families, and all visitors. Our security team is expertly trained to handle various situations, ensuring that everyone enjoys a safe and enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and security of the hotel, guests, team members, and their belongings through vigilant monitoring of the premises.
  • Complete security-related tasks as assigned.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the hotel facilities.
  • Respond promptly to any incidents requiring attention.
  • Assist management in managing incidents and document events thoroughly.
  • Adhere to all Occupational Health & Safety regulations enforced by the hotel.
  • Project a professional demeanor that fosters trust and confidence.
  • Maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service in every interaction.
  • Manage risks effectively and adapt to changing circumstances using contingency plans.
  • Navigate conflicting viewpoints without bias, ensuring fair decision-making.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing extensive CCTV systems; comfortable operating and monitoring activities on-site.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Background in law enforcement.
  • Training as a first responder.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Capability to sit or stand for extended periods.
