About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Title Clerk to join our team at Time Auto Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth processing of vehicle titles and related documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inventory Management: Accurately enter vehicle inventory into our Dealer Management System (DMS).
  • DMV Processing: Process retail, wholesale, in-state, and out-of-state DMV transactions, including submitting Form 165 to the DMV for trades.
  • Mail Allocation: Check mail daily and allocate tasks accordingly.
  • Errands and Communication: Run errands, including trips to the bank, post office, and DMV Dealer Center, and communicate with customers, lenders, and auctions regarding title status and payments.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain DMV trip permits, temporary permits, and inventory jackets, and submit VITU submissions to the General Ledger.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned, including working with vendors during flooring audits and DMV audits.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an automotive title clerk role, with a preference for more experience.
  • Notary Commission: Possess a notary commission or be willing to obtain one within 30 days of employment, with expenses covered by the employer.
  • Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with a positive and friendly attitude.
  • Math and Computer Skills: Have basic math skills and proficiency in computer software, with the ability to learn new technology.
