Registered Nurse ECMO Specialist

Orlando Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse ECMO Specialist to join our team.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse ECMO Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a critical care setting, utilizing advanced knowledge and skills to manage complex patient conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience in ECMO therapy and a strong background in critical care nursing.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients requiring ECMO therapy
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Monitor and adjust ECMO therapy as needed
- Document patient care and progress
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN licensure in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact
- ECMO experience required
- Advanced critical care nursing skills and knowledge
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in a critical care setting
- ECMO certification
- Advanced life support certifications (e.g. ACLS, PALS)
