You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care and support during their recovery.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the PACU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients based on their unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Monitor and manage patient's vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
  • Document patient's progress and care in the medical record.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a PACU or critical care setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Other certifications may be required based on unit/department-specific requirements.
