Job SummaryWe're seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a Staff Pharmacist, you'll play a critical role in delivering our purpose, modeling our values, and demonstrating genuine, authentic care for our patients. You'll work closely with our Pharmacy Manager to lead and direct your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, and be accountable for supporting the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Safety: Ensure the safe handling and administration of medications, and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
- Pharmacy Professional Practice: Stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and regulations, and provide guidance and support to your team.
- Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve the quality of our pharmacy services, and identify areas for improvement.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our patients and customers, and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Personnel Management: Lead and develop your Pharmacy Support Staff, and provide coaching and feedback to help them grow and succeed.
- Inventory Management: Manage our pharmacy inventory, including ordering and stocking medications, and maintaining accurate records.
- Financial Profitability: Work with our team to achieve financial goals and objectives, and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
- Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate risks to our pharmacy operations, and maintain a secure and safe environment.
- Workflow Management: Streamline our pharmacy operations, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed.
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA).
- Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
