Position Summary

In the role of Surface Mount Technology Technician, you will play a crucial part in supporting SMT production processes, which includes enhancing procedures and setting up equipment. This position provides opportunities for career progression and further development within the SMT division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding of Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) electronic components
  • Capability to execute soldering and rework tasks on SMT components
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery
  • Engage in collaborative project discussions for design and development efforts
  • Identify components and materials necessary for circuit assemblies
  • Undertake additional related tasks as required

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in electronics assembly
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 & IPC-A-610 standards
  • Experience in production utilizing automated assembly methods
