Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or an LL.M. in a related field.
  • Experience: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level in federal service. This experience must have provided the applicant with the necessary qualifications to effectively perform the duties of the position.

Examples of Qualifying Experience:
- Preparing responses to administrative remedies.
- Assessing the suitability and security eligibility of individuals for positions with risk levels.
- Advising executive staff and management on personnel requirements.

Combination of Education and Experience:
A combination of education and experience that has equipped you with the qualifications to fulfill the major responsibilities of this position as outlined above. Credit will be given for both paid and unpaid experience. To receive appropriate credit, you must detail the actual time spent in relevant activities.
