Cryptologic Linguist

As a Cryptologic Linguist in the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in securing our nation's information by analyzing and interpreting foreign communications. This position requires a unique blend of language skills, technical expertise, and analytical thinking.

• Identify and Analyze Foreign Communications: Use your language skills to identify and analyze foreign communications, including signals, messages, and other forms of communication.
• Recognize Changes in Transmission Modes: Recognize changes in transmission modes and report them to the appropriate authorities.
• Provide Translation Expertise: Provide translation expertise to analysts, supporting their efforts to understand foreign communications.
• Support Signals Intelligence: Support Signals Intelligence tasking, reporting, and coordination, providing critical information to support national security efforts.
